Behind the Boom: Building a Community for Location Sound
Behind the Boom is the sound community's home for behind-the-scenes moments, gear talk, and real set stories — a space built specifically for location sound professionals to connect, share, and support each other in a corner of the industry that doesn't always get a lot of attention. In just a short time, the community has grown to over 10,000 followers, and it keeps growing every week.
If you've spent any time on set, you know location sound can be a lonely job. You're often the only person on the crew thinking about audio, tucked away with headphones on, solving problems no one else even notices. That's part of why I started Behind the Boom.
